Short Description:
The Business Partner - HR partners with the business to provide expert HR, ER and IR coaching, advice, and support to facilitate the achievement of Orica's Business Goals and HR strategy.
As the HR BP at Orica Sweden’s Manufacturing organization, you are the support to the Manufacturing Center Manager with functional accountability for the 6 satellite sites which report into the Manufacturing Center. The satellite sites are Aljustrel Portugal, Panaguyrishte Bulgaria, Kostomuksha Russia, Ust-Kamenogorsk Kazakhstan, Siji United Arab Emirates and Chambisi Zambia. You support all HR related issues and as our HR BP you are expected to contribute and further develop a business-oriented and value-adding HR function. There are approximately 250 employees in the Manufacturing organization in Gyttorp which rises to approximately 500 including the satellite sites within the center's responsibility.

Long Description:
The position is part of the management team in the Manufacturing Center, and reports to Head of HR EMEA, with a dotted line to Gyttorp Manufacturing Centre Manager and close working relationship with the Senior Manager - HRBP MFG & Supply based in Australia. The overall role is to provide professional support and be a sounding board for managers in both strategic and operational HR issues such as, organizational development, performance management, talent and succession and career planning, recruitment, leadership succession/development, labour law, salary, work environment, gender perspectives etc.
The HR BP should ensure that the HR Strategy supports the business strategy within Manufacturing primary responsibility for:
• Implementing and communicating HR strategies and processes in line with global initiatives.
• Active involvement in corporate change processes.
• Creating and operating the development/training programs within defined key areas in cooperation with the management.
• Identifying and securing core skills/key competencies within the company in both short and long term.
• Developing practices and methods and coordinate skills development in the companies.
• Continuous leadership development in line with Orica’s core values.
• Interaction with union representatives, and negotiations.
• Management of critical employee relations cases in all sites (including satellites).
• Driving wage/salary audits according to established model.
• Initiation and coordination of recruitment and terminations.
• Providing pragmatic, advice, and support to managers in contractual matters and policy issues.
• Advising on people aspects of Revenue and Cost Planning process (including within SAP).
• Participating in rehabilitation cases
• Establishment of local policies and guidelines for the legal entity of Orica Sweden in Human Resources and ensure that these are followed.
• External and internal relations including management team and managers, union representatives, employees, industrial health service and other suppliers/consultants in recruitment, employer organisations, universities and schools, social security agency, unemployment agency, neighbouring companies.
• Ensure that Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) standards are integrated into new HR-processes.
• Partnering with People Services and HR EMEA to meet agreed standards of service.
