Supply Chain Manager

As Supply Chain Manager for Nordic Paper you will have a central and important role in the company. The contact net and cooperation will be wide both internally and externally. You will have the overall responsibility for the processes Plan to Order and Order to Delivery.
Since these processes do involve nearly all functions in some way in the company you need to interact and collaborate more or less on a daily basis with concerned positions.
You are the member of the function Purchasing & Logistics and you report directly to the Purchasing & Logistics Director.
The position does not involve any direct reporting staff however you will have the responsibility to act as a leader for the processes mentioned as well as for projects within the area of responsibility.

· Develop and optimize the processes in terms of routines, flows, process descriptions etc.
· Follow up and optimization of key performance for ware houses, distribution and delivery performance.
· Responsible for the sourcing process of all external transportations, material handling and warehouse services, other material and or services needed and linked to the area of responsibility.
· Develop contract standards within the area.
· Evolve, recommend and eventually implement strategies for the companies’ solutions for all transports.
· Good communication and cooperation with functions and or positions concerned for the area of responsibility.
· Give facts, data and indications for budget, follow up over the year with estimates as well as year impacts of those.
· Work and act for a continuous improvement process generally within Purchasing & Logistics but also internally Nordic Paper and externally together with our suppliers and service providers.

Skills and competences

As a person you are structured, strategic, focused on results and development oriented with a strong customer focus. You are a good team player with the ability to communicate and motivate in a natural way. It is essential that you are collaborative and do have the ability to work cross functional. To be successful in the role we also believe that you need to adapt easily to changes, see the possibilities in combination with a positive mindset.
Education and Experiences
· Relevant university / college education.
· At least 5 years work experience in the field, preferably from companies that operates internationally.
· High knowledge and understanding of the Supply Chain process as a whole.
· Good leadership skills in combination with experience from driving development projects.
· Easy to communicate both verbally and in writing.
· Computer skills and good knowledge in MS-applications.

Fluent in Swedish and English language.
