Team Leader Initiating Systems (IS)

As Team Leader Initiating Systems (IS) you have overall responsibility for Ownership of OTC-Gyttorp facilities and to lead the IS team based in Gyttorp. Develop, improve and support IS Products and IS manufacturing processes.
You will also be responsible and lead the team in order to provide support to our IS customers in the EMEA region and the IS manufacturing site in Gyttorp.

The work is both operational and strategical, and we expect that you have a leadership that is characterized by participation, involvement and interest in managing and develop both technology and people. You are responsible for managing projects that involve both the product and product-component development and validation.

As Team Leader you are expected to stimulate adequate generation of new ideas for IS product technology through diverse means such as customer contact surveillance of new technologies in other industries stimulation of novel thinking within the global community.

You are managing the local team of 5 direct reported and you work actively to develop work-methods, procedures, operations, personnel and have an ability to see reality, a holistic perspective, and focus on the delivery of the best quality and cost solutions for the IS products and manufacturing process. You will have the responsibility to implement and secure Orica’s procedures and policies.

Education and Experience
It is essential you have a Science or Engineering Master degree and
>10 years technical / operational experience in a highly regulated industry (preferably explosives). You also need to act freely in English & Swedish in both speech and writing.
